Studio Brundrett
A woman-owned objects conservation studio based in Rochester, NY that specializes in the treatment of stained glass and mosaic works as well as related materials including glass, ceramic, metal, wood, and stone. The studio serves public and private collections within New York State and the surrounding areas.
Services Offered
Condition Assessments
On location and in studio assessments that documents the current condition including breaks, corrosion products, missing elements, previous repairs and environmental and structural aspects that impact preservation efforts.
Survey services include prioritization, collection needs and conservation treatment.
Conservation Treatment
Studio Brundrett follows the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) code of ethics and guidelines to preserve art and cultural heritage.
Treatment includes appropriate handling of all works which reduces the risk of damage to the object and, if the works is part of an architectural installation, the built surrounds.
Protective Housing
Archival housing for storage or for transit is custom made for each object and the specific needs. Helping to protect the object(s) from physical impact, damage due to vibrations, as well as to reduce the change of disassociation.

A recent graduate of the Patricia H. and Richard E. Garman Art Conservation Department at SUNY Buffalo State University. With additional educational experiences at the objects conservation labs at the NYS Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation at Peebles Island Resource Center, the Midwest Art Conservation Center, the Cleveland Museum of Art, National Park Service (NPS) in the department of Historic Architecture, Conservation and Engineering (HACE) and at the stained glass conservation lab at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Member of the International Council of Museums - Committee for Conservation (ICOM-CC), International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (IIC), Stained Glass Association of America (SGAA), British Society of Master Glass Painters (BSMGP), and vice-chair for the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) Health & Safety Network.
